Chloe has already made a big impression when getting to know a lot of our Accredited Installers, we think it’s only fair that you get to know Chloe too!
Please tell us a little about yourself…
I am a 27-year-old mother to a wild 5-year-old boy. I have two little chihuahuas that rule the house! When I left school I spent 3 years training to be a Hairdresser & Barber, but have most recently worked within the financial services sector before joining the Qualitymark Protection team. I love nothing more than to have a good chat with my customers, understanding how I can help their business and simply being there when they need me. I’m really looking forward to speaking with new, existing and potential Qualitymark Protection Accredited Installers.
How have you found the first few months at Qualitymark?
Educational! Although I’ve worked within the financial sector, the home improvement industry, insurance backed guarantees and the world of ECO is very fast-paced and dynamic, so I’ve taken it in my stride to learn the ins and outs of the industry. There are always new changes being implemented, so it’s exciting to have the chance to continually learn about new aspects of it all. The team at Qualitymark is so friendly and has been very welcoming. It’s a fantastic place to work and I’m looking forward to seeing what the future holds here.
What do you think of the industry?
Just when you’ve started learning some new aspects of the industry, another change comes around the corner. I wouldn’t change that though, I love to learn new things, and it’s exciting to see the industry going from strength to strength. Speaking with installers on a daily basis also helps with learning more about specific trades and aspects of how they work.
What have you enjoyed the most so far?
I love having that initial conversation with an Installer and then guiding them through the entire process of becoming an Accredited Installer with Qualitymark. The end conversation to let them know they’ve been accepted always feels so rewarding, and it’s even better when I get the chance to become their Relationship Manager.
What are you most looking forward to in your role?
I am looking forward to watching smaller businesses grow and being on that journey with them. I really am other people’s cheerleader!
What advice would you give someone who has just started within the industry?
Don’t run before you can walk. Good things do take time, taking time and pride in your work will pay off so much better in the long term.
