Insurance Backed Guarantees provide financial protection to homeowners, in the event their installer ceases to trade and is unable to honour their written guarantee.

Deposit Protection Insurance helps to protect your upfront payment, in the event that the installer ceases to trade before work has either begun or has been completed.

If you have a problem with your installation, please contact your installer first. Their contact details will be provided on the policy provided to you by Qualitymark Protection. If you find that your installer is no longer trading, you may be eligible to make a claim under your insurance policy (subject to the policy terms & conditions). Please follow the claim procedure as detailed within your policy terms & conditions.

The email or SMS is not spam. We send Insurance policy documents using both communication methods. If you require a hard copy of your policy documents, please contact us via email at info@qualitymark.co.uk.

Should you need to change your policy details, you would need to submit your request to us in writing either by post or email. Please email info@qualitymark.co.uk with proof of residency at the property in question (dated in the last 6 months), and information about your home improvement installation.

Our insurance cover is exclusively available to Qualitymark Protection Accredited Installers. Homeowners are unable to purchase an insurance backed guarantee, it must be purchased by a Qualitymark Protection Accredited Installer.

Qualitymark Protection does not provide servicing for home improvements. You must contact your installer, their details will be provided on the policy documents sent from Qualitymark Protection.

If you have a defect with your installation, you must first contact your installer. Their details will be provided on the documents sent to you from Qualitymark Protection.

If you have lost your policy documents and require a replacement copy, you would need to submit your request to us in writing either by post or email. Please email info@qualitymark.co.uk with proof of residency at the property in question (dated in the last 6 months), and information regarding your home improvement installation.

If you are the new owner of a property and wish to change the policyholder name, you would need to submit your request to us in writing either by post or email. Please email info@qualitymark.co.uk with proof of residency or ownership of the property in question, and information regarding your home improvement installation. We do not charge any fees for this service.
